Download Electronic Recordings
Once you have received the email from the Court Reporters Office, open it and click on the link to gain access to your transcript files. It will open your default web browser and display the zip file along with the folders containing your transcript(s). Follow the below steps to download and play your audio transcript files.
- On the right side of the website is the Details section. To download the file, click on the icon button next to Download.
- Once the download has completed, you can access the files on your computer by clicking the Download icon located at the top right-hand corner of your web browser. Then, click the folder icon next to the file name to open the folder where the downloaded files are located.
- Right-click on the file name and select Extract All from the pop-up menu.
- Click the Browse button to select a location to save the extracted files on your computer. Ensure that the Show extracted files when complete checkbox has a check mark in it. Click Extract to start the process.
- Once the files have been extracted, you will be presented with a window containing one or more folders. Folders that have an _am_ in the folder name are from morning sessions and ones with _pm_ are afternoon sessions. Double click the folder you wish to listen to.
- Double click the Transcription Package 1. If you have multiple folders in this directory, the case is in multiple sessions. 1 will be for the first part, 2 will be for the second part, and so on.
- Double click the bin folder.
- Double click the cplayer file to open an audio player with the audio recording for that session. The procedure is the same for each transcription package found in step 6 above. Follow Transcription Package ## -> bin -> csplayer for each package.
