November 25, 2020: Message from Administrative Judge Laura Ripken regarding important changes that go into effect on November 30, 2020 at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.

All Office of Child Support Enforcement cases (Title IVD) set for Tuesday, December 1st will be rescheduled.

 

November 24, 2020:  Chief Judge Barbera issued five new administrative orders today regarding the COVID-19 public health emergency and court operations across the state. The revised administrative orders move Judiciary emergency operations to Phase II effective November 30, 2020, through January 15, 2021, limiting matters to be heard in person and encouraging the use of remote technology. The Clerks’ Office of the Circuit Courts and the offices of the administrative clerks in the District Court shall remain open to the public for emergency matters and by appointment for other matters. In addition, jury trials are now suspended through February 12, 2021, to resume February 16, 2021.
