Chief Judge Barbera has issued five revised administrative orders regarding the COVID-19 public health emergency and court operations across the state. The new administrative orders confirm that March 15, 2021, marks the date for expanded operations to resume in the Judiciary. The Judiciary will progress directly to Phase IV emergency operations, given the previous expansion of operations authorized during Phase II beginning November 30, 2020. Phase V full operations will resume on April 26, 2021, including jury trials. Health protocols will continue to be required, including the wearing of masks and maintaining social distancing, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice. Click here to review all active orders.
