To order a Circuit Court Transcript and/or CD, simply follow the link above to submit a CD or Transcript Request. The request will be forwarded by the Office of the Court Reporter to one of the court approved transcription vendors, who will provide you with a cost estimate.  All deposits and final payments will be paid to the vendor.

Our Court Reporting staff can produce a CD for listening purposes.  The price of CDs for audio recordings is $35.00 per CD, and are only available for hearings held after July 1, 1999.  If multiple days are involved, each full day will be a separate CD.  Please make check payable to the Law Library Fund.  Please note, CDs can only be played on a computer - software needed to listen to the digital recording is included on the CD. If the CD is requested in MP3 format, due to conversion time required, the rate of $45.00 per CD will be charged.

When ordering a transcript, the time begins to run when the transcription service receives the order from the Court. The normal delivery time for transcripts on the day they are due is 3:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Next day expedited transcript requests must be received by the Court Reporting Department no later than 1:00 p.m.

As set forth by the Maryland Judiciary's Court Reporting Manual (September 2021), transcript charges for regular copies shall be as follows:

For the original of a transcript (Normal 21 Business Day Delivery): $3.75 per page
For first additional copy: 50¢ per page
For second additional copy: 25¢ per page

5 Day Delivery: $6.00 per page
10 Day Delivery: $5.00 per page
15 Day Delivery: $4.50 per page

Standard turn-around time for transcription orders is 21 Business Days.

Transcript costs are based on the number of pages and how quickly a transcript is required.  The number of pages in a transcript varies widely from case to case and is affected by many factors.  The cost chart below are SAMPLES of transcript costs.  The cost of your actual transcript may be significantly higher or lower than samples provided.
